2026 Junior Golf Coaching Programs
Junior Competitive Development Program
This program is designed to bridge the gap between introductory “Learn to Play” instruction and competitive on-course performance. It aims to help junior golfers build the skills, confidence, and decision-making abilities needed to succeed in a more competitive golf environment.
The program includes 8 hours of coaching delivered over 8 weeks, beginning May 6th. Each 60-minute session provides hands-on instruction, with ongoing coach support between sessions. Participants will also receive weekly drills to reinforce learning and encourage independent practice.
Open to everyone ages 12–18.

Session Times:
- 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Group 1: Girls)
- 6:15 PM – 7:15 PM (Group 2: Boys)
- 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Group 3: Boys)
Participants: 12 per group
Cost: $160

Glen Lovat Junior Golf League
Junior 9-Hole League – Glen Lovat Golf Club
The Junior 9-Hole League at Glen Lovat Golf Club is the perfect opportunity for young golfers to gain on-course experience in a fun, social, and slightly competitive environment.
This 7-week junior league is designed to get players out on the course, playing real rounds and building confidence every week. With weekly prizes, team competitions, and a great social atmosphere, it’s the perfect mix of competition and fun.
Players will:
✔ Gain valuable on-course experience
✔ Compete for weekly prizes
✔ Take part in exciting team events
✔ Build friendships and enjoy the game
Weekly cost is $5 for members, and $15 for non-members.
The League will run from July 15th to August 26th on Wednesdays starting at 2:00pm.

Glen Lovat Learn to Play Golf Program
The Learn to Play Program at Glen Lovat is designed to introduce young golfers to the game in a fun, supportive, and engaging environment. Participants will learn the fundamental skills of golf, building a strong foundation while developing confidence and a love for the game.
Through structured instruction and interactive activities, players will be introduced to key basics such as grip, stance, swing, and simple on-course etiquette.
This program is open to the public and is ideal for beginners looking to get started in golf.
Ages: 7–11
